All decisions made on funding assistance applications must be entered into Transport Investment Online (TIO The NZTA's web-based funding allocation system. ).

This includes:

• the recommendation (which should already have been entered as part of the review process – however, the decision maker may review the recommendation and require that it be amended as part of the decision)
• the decision
• the decision maker
• any conditions of funding approval
• any reasons for declining the application, and
• any record of variation, e.g. part approval.
