Where the approver/recommender decides the activity is not:

• developed sufficiently, or
• eligible for funding from the work category A type of activity – not confined to a particular activity class, e.g. new roads (work category 323) appears in:
  
  * activity class 12 – local road improvements
  * activity class 13 – state highways improvements stated by the applicant

they will refer the application back to the applicant with the reasons why it is not being progressed in its current form.

Applicants may decide to develop the activity further, or amend the application and reapply for funding assistance approval.
