The regional plans and prioritised lists of activities are collated and moderated at workshops involving NZTA key staff. The workshops are led by the Regional Transport Planning Managers and involve national office NZTA ((State Highways) and NZTA (planning & investment) staff to confirm the assessment profiles and priorities nationally.

This involves carrying out pair-wise comparisons of projects of the same assessment profiles and profile priorities to challenge and scrutinise their priority order. • background project information, and
• regional rankings within priority orders.
