Introduction |
The Resource Management Act (1991) (RMA ) is the statutory framework for land use planning, promoting the sustainable management of natural and physical resources. When building or maintaining the state highway, the RMA requires the NZTA to avoid, remedy or mitigate adverse environmental effects caused by the infrastructure. |
