NZTA assists RTCs with review of completeness and eligibility - overview

 

Introduction

The NZTA (planning and investment) is to assist Regional Transport Committees (RTCs) in their review of the completeness and eligibility of activities in Approved Organisations’ and the NZTA’s (state highways) transport programmes, as part of the process to prepare and submit these programmes for input to the Regional Land Transport Plan (RLTP A regional land transport plan, prepared under Part 2 of the LTMA, as from time to time amended or varied. ).

 

This step is equivalent to Step 6 of the AO local Transport Programmes Process.

 

Overview information

This step involves regional staff of the NZTA (planning and investment) assisting RTCs to review activities submitted by Approved Organisations and the NZTA (state highways) in their transport programmes for eligibility and completeness and then providing feedback to the RTC A regional transport committee established under section 105 or clause 11 of schedule 7 of the LTMA. and programme submitters.
