Draft the national components of the NLTP document - overview
Introduction
|
The drafting of the national components of the National Land Transport Programme (NLTP) document is a joint responsibility of the NZTA’s Strategy & Performance and Planning & Investment Groups.
|
Considerations
|
Considerations:
- time is of the essence – the national components should be laid out, photos and maps sorted and the body of the document drafted well in advance of NLTP publication
- while shown as a specific step in the NLTP process, layout and drafting should commence as early as possible in the process
- content of national components will be identified and developed in conjunction with the NZTA workgroup responsible for the NLTP document to ensure consistency
- strategy & Performance will be responsible for drafting the NZTA Board Chair’s and Chief Executive’s sections as well as the sections on strategic direction and assessment of NLTP delivery against the Land Transport Management Act, and
- planning & Investment will be responsible for the sections around the funding system, revenue and expenditure, activity classes and programmes.
