In some situations, the Transport Agency may need to respond to variations from its plans based on intermediate monitoring of progress and unexpected activities.

Feedback is provided to programme deliverers on their performance against forecasts.

A formal request for a cost-scope or cashflow adjustment (entered into Transport Investment Online (TIO The NZTA's web-based funding allocation system. )) must be submitted by programme deliverers as soon as the organisation is aware that a variation is required.
