Collate, review and check forecasts

The National Manager Investment’s team collates and reviews data from programme deliverers and checks that the information is reasonable.

The tests for reasonableness are largely around the levels forecast against expected programme progress (i.e. actual claims), the level of forecast expenditure over time and assumptions made on programme and project approvals and allocations.

A similar review of the revenue forecast from Ministry of Transport is undertaken, in conjunction with the Finance team.
