Assurance monitoring

Assurance Monitoring activities were introduced into the investment assurance framework in 2012/13. This work is primarily focused on testing aspects of the end to end planning and investment processes to see whether they are functioning as intended and where there are opportunities to improve.  Some of our Assurance Monitoring activities will depend on input from Approved Organisations, who will be approached for their participation.

Each year, we bring together representatives of our organisation to identify topics where they see potential risks or opportunities. These are then prioritised based on where the organisation sees the greatest potential for improvement.
